Messages

Messages app​

The Messages app lets you read and send SMS messages.

  1. Tap the Messages tile to open the app.
  2. Tap + to choose Phone number or Contact.

Send a message to a number​

  1. Tap the Phone number field.
  2. Enter the number.
  3. Tap Send message.
  4. Tap the message field.
  5. Type your message.
  6. Tap the blue send button.

Send a message to a contact​

  1. Select a contact or add one first (see Contacts).
  2. Tap the orange Message button.
  3. Tap the message field.
  4. Type your message.
  5. Tap the blue send button.

Block a sender​

  1. Tap Options in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap Block number.
  3. To unblock, tap Options again and choose Unblock number.
