Home screen

Overview

The Home screen is designed for clarity and quick access. It shows your apps, clock, Wi-Fi status, and battery level.

The screen has five main areas:

  1. Status bar
  2. Notification panel
  3. Quick Settings menu
  4. App tiles
  5. Navigation panel

Status bar

The Status bar displays important system information using icons:

  • Airplane mode
  • Do Not Disturb
  • Location services
  • Wi-Fi signal strength
  • Mobile data signal strength
  • Battery level

Notification panel

The Notification panel appears below Quick Settings and shows messages and alerts.

Quick Settings provides fast access to common controls such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Alarm.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
  2. Swipe down again to expand the menu.
  3. Swipe left to view more options.
  4. Tap a shortcut to use it.

App tiles

The default Home screen displays six tiles:

  1. Camera
  2. Messages
  3. Contacts
  4. Shortcuts
  5. Gallery
  6. Browser

To edit tiles:

  1. Press and hold a tile.
  2. Select an option.

Available options:

  1. Remove tile from Home screen
  2. Change tile position (rearrange)
  3. Change tile appearance (customize app)
  4. Cancel

The Navigation panel allows you to move between screens and perform actions:

  1. Call button (opens dial pad)
  2. SOS button (inactive, opens settings)
  3. Navigation arrow (switch pages)
  4. Back
  5. Home
  6. Recent apps

When you move to the next page, the Call button is replaced by a navigation arrow to return to the previous page.
