Home Screen

Overview

The home screen is designed for clarity and quick access. It shows your apps, clock, Wi-Fi status, and battery level. The screen has four main areas:

  1. Status bar
  2. Toolbar
  3. App tiles
  4. Navigation panel

Status bar

The status bar shows important system information using icons.

  • Airplane mode
  • Do not disturb
  • Location services
  • Wi-Fi strength
  • Mobile data strength
  • Battery level indicator

Quick Settings menu

Quick Settings provides fast access to common controls.

  1. Swipe down from the status bar.
  2. Swipe down again for the expanded view.
  3. Use the shortcuts below.

Common shortcuts include:

  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • Do not disturb
  • Flashlight
  • Auto-rotate
  • Battery saver
  • SIM/mobile data
  • Airplane mode
  • Screencast
  • Brightness slider
  • Settings (gear)
  • Edit quick settings (pen)

Notification panel

The notification panel sits below Quick Settings and shows messages and alerts.

Toolbar

The toolbar provides quick access to:

  1. Time (Clock app)
  2. Date (Calendar app)
  3. Senifone settings
  4. Wi-Fi settings
  5. Mobile signal strength
  6. Battery percentage
  7. "What’s new?" (updates)

App tiles

The default home screen shows six tiles:

  1. Camera
  2. Messages
  3. Contacts
  4. Shortcuts
  5. Gallery
  6. Browser

To edit tiles:

  1. Press and hold a tile.
  2. Choose an option.

Options include:

  1. Remove tile from home screen
  2. Change tile location
  3. Change tile appearance
  4. Cancel and return

The navigation panel lets you switch pages and actions.

  1. Call button (opens dial pad)
  2. Inactive SOS button (opens settings)
  3. Navigation arrow (switch pages)
  4. Back
  5. Home
  6. Recent apps

When you move to the next page, the call button is replaced by a navigation arrow for returning to the previous page.
