Quick Settings

Overview​

Quick Settings gives you fast access to common controls such as battery saver, screen recording, screen casting, microphone access, and camera access.

Open Quick Settings​

  1. Wake the phone screen.
  2. Swipe down from the top of the screen.
  3. Swipe down again for the expanded panel.

Battery Saver​

  1. Open Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Battery Saver.

Tap the tile again to turn Battery Saver off.

Screen Cast​

  1. Open Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Screen Cast.
  3. Select the display you want to use.

Screen Record​

  1. Open Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Screen Record.
  3. Tap Start.

To stop recording, open notifications and tap Stop Recording.

Microphone and camera access​

  1. Open Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Mic Access to enable or disable microphone access.
  3. Tap Camera Access to enable or disable camera access.

Edit Quick Settings​

  1. Open Quick Settings.
  2. Tap the Edit icon.
  3. Drag tiles to add, remove, or rearrange them.
  4. Tap Done.
